I was tasked by my brother to create a logo mark for his wedding in 2015. Utilizing their Hebrew names, אלי and אריאל, I took the first initial of each name and combined it with a double vav, which creates the “w" sound in Hebrew. By manipulating the Vav and making a mirror of it, it formed a torch-like icon. Taking the 2 alephs from their initials, I manipulated the letterform into a flame for the torch of Vavs.
